Forever Autumn

If the title wasn’t clue enough, I am a very big fan of Jeff Wayne’s “War of the Worlds” and one of my favorite tracks on that album is "Forever Autumn”.

This piece was made while I was listening through the album and I went a little overboard on the details. I was feeling very inspired and wanted to create a contained story about a woman in the Late Victorian era who becomes the obsession of this gross monstrosity of a different world. As I was drawing I was imagining this character taking the role of the narrator in the song, and I was thinking about what would this song sound like if it was from the perspective of Carrie, the romantic lead for the album.
